For all the fans of the game Devil May Cry (I am one of them) I must anounce that Devil May Cry movie will have a release date set for 2013 and then moved to 2016. Screen Gems and Capcom will collaborate again to create a movie, not one of the Resident Evil series, but one that will be starring a man named Dante, whose specialty is hunting demons. Scenario will be conducted by an individual named Kyle Ward, who is in charge of the game Kane & Lynch screenplay adaptation.Story of Devil May Cry will be related to Dante's attempt to avenge his mother's death by killing a large number of demons. Nobody knows if it will be bound in any way the DMC story, new game in the series Ninja Theory that are in progress.
Franchise game was based on an idea of "Resident Evil" (a big screen adaptations of all of Screen Gems), which was launched in 2001 and had three parts plus another one under construction. About Resident Evil, there will be the fifth movie planed to be launched in September 2012, entitled Resident Evil Retribution.
Scenario it is listed first on Dante, a man trying to avenge his mother's death by killing demons. Kyle Ward, in charge of adapting the script with the same name after the game, Kane & Lynch will write the screenplay for Devil May Cry.
Now the only problem is choosing an actor able to play on Dante and do all those tricks with the sword and gun in hand without getting hurt.
